It can be seen as a follow-up to “Tears,” the second single and track to the album, as Sabrina was turned on by the idea of a man’s responsibility and respectfulness, but now he appears less interested in her because of that on “My Man on Willpower.”

The track was first revealed as part of the daily tracklist announcements of the album on July 31st, 2025, when the X user @yourlivslike shared the title of the song with the caption:
